TK and LTHVVWL-modified liposomes co-loaded with siRNA targeting pro-inflammatory cytokines and methylprednisolone were designed for inflammation-targeted delivery. Upon reaching inflamed tissues, ROS-triggered cleavage of TK facilitated the release of both agents, achieving dual gene silencing and pharmacological suppression of inflammation.
